I was engineering a recording session with Amp about 30 years ago at Groovesville Studios in Detroit, it was the dead of winter and I had forgotten to turn the heat on in the studio and it was freezing cold. He did the session wearing a winter coat and GLOVES!! This dude is amazing!!

They need to make a 76 or 88 key model for us Keyboard players that record music. I currently still use a Roland Fantom G7 and would love to have this kind of flexibility vs using my Roland SP404MKII like a MPC to record my instrumental beats.

Hey great video this one question to ask you about something my son on my keyboard to get the MPC keyboard I have the mpcx is a word freely getting or should I just wait see the bugs out of this machine's going to have I just want to hook that up to my MCC X and be done with keyboards can you help me out
@ampfiddler12 жыл бұрын
Hey Sen, I would update my X to 2.11 and buy the new plug-in package to see if you love the workflow….That would with a controller you can get the same sounds as the keyboard
@kbruff20109 ай бұрын
Does it have a vocal processor/vocoder.
@sweetwater9 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for your interest! There’s not a traditional vocoder effect built in on the MPC Key, but there are some vocal effects, including a vocal tuner that can do subtle pitch correction or aggressive hard-tuning, as well as a harmonizer that can create up to 4-part harmonies from a single vocal. Hope this helps a bit - feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again! Caleb Lowrey, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1620, caleb_lowrey@sweetwater.com

it needs a set of motorized automation faders for the different tracks.
@redsquares2 жыл бұрын
you can connect any class compliant USB midi controller (like Akai Midi Mix or any motorized one if you prefer), and just assign it to the stuff you want to control, then save it as a template. i hope akai makes it like automatic to connect like an apc 40 or a midimix to it and be automatically mapped. that'd be bonkers.

I’ve been working on my mpc one with no midi controller last few days in standalone mode With the touch screen and shortcuts I dare to say it might be easier and faster than with a mouse in the software once you get the hang of this. I’m dead serious I’ve been shocked myself I had no other choice but to get into it and I might prefer it now after only 2-3 days
@Elliott.Revell2 жыл бұрын
@@Chyuuch yea it's dope bro. I just can't imagine doing this with where the screen on this new keyboard lol

Hey Amp!. man i already have a MPC Live 2 but now i see you with this new MPC 61 Key i'll have to try and get it!!!!! Detroit!!!!!
@Iredidv2 жыл бұрын
Seems like there is enough space left on the 61 key version to make a 49 key version...1500 would be allright. Msrp is 2200 for the 61, but in shops it will be 1800. So 1500 should be possible for a 49 key.
I only buy synth's if the build quality is very good.
