After 20 years I'm finally getting back into guitar more as a hobby and escape from the reality of parent hood....what software should I use for jamming/recording? I don't have anyone to play with so I'm looking for something to record bass and maybe import drum tracks in and then Play rhythm and lead parts over.... I only like Cephalic Carnage / rings of Saturn kind of stuff.. what would you recommend.... Also I've never heard such a soft spoken gent play such impending riffs....I really dig your channel....thank you .....

So for recording I highly recommend reaper! If you want a good amp sim I personally use neural dsp gojira a lot or neural amp modeler. And I’ll be putting out a video on getting bass tones next Friday!
