I just got one of these and I really do like it so far. I am using it as a phono pre-amp, connecting my Technics SL-QL15 linear tracking turntable into it, and then feeding the RCA OUT to my Marantz AV8802a pre/pro, which then feeds into an Emotiva Gen 3 XPA-DR 3-channel amp, and then into a pair of Klipsch RF-7 tower speakers. Does have a nice clean, detailed sound that I really like. Really is a nice piece of kit for the $130 that I paid for it. I will have to try it with my B&W P9 Signature headphones and see how it sounds through those. Yes, the "GND" is the grounding post that you use when hooking it up to a turntable as a phono pre-amp. That is needed as the phono pre-amp input is extremely sensitive and is susceptible to a ground-loop hum.

Something I would have liked would be a 3.5mm line-in jack or even coax/optical, for PC source audio.

You can buy a 3.5mm to rca cable pretty cheap to hook up to PC.

I am looking for a preamp to use with a Crown XLI 1500 power amp. Audio source will be my PC. I will be driving two Cerwin Vega RE30 4ohm 250W speakers. The Crown power amp is 450W/channel @8ohms with a selectable input sensitivity @8ohms of .775V, or 2.4V. Would this preamp have sufficient output signal to allow that power amp to perform at full capacity? If not, are there any smaller tube preamps like this that would get the job done? Also, anyone know the output impedance of this preamp? Thanks for any help.

its literally called a ground. you called it by the right name 4:19 yes you are correct this is the ground and that's exactly what its called

You can do either. I don't have a turntable so I connected via aux from a DAC.

No, it's very quiet even with iems.
