Thx for this - I've decided at the end of your comparison Ampero/Ampero II Stomp that this will be the substitute for my very old Pod 2.0 in my tiny home recording place. Oh, it still works fine but the Ampero 2 has much more options and the sounds are better. Well, i didn't hear one in real life so far but i believe in my two trusty YTers, guess who is one of em... 😄

😀👍...thank you so much...and well....I hope to be one of the two...😀 Thank you also for sharing your experience and final decision!

@@LeoGibsonGtr Lol, of course you are - there is no one that make such detailed comparisons without judging but with listed pros and cons. Those vids about the different modelers compared to the real things i had to watch/listen more than once to make my decision. I know it's different to listen to the recordings than to hear it in the room, but there are your personal opinions that mostly fits my likings, so Thanks again for all your work. That's totally fine... 😉

Fantastic idea - thank you Leo! I think I will try to see if my MG30 can do something similar. It would be great for the times the house is not quiet enough to mic up my acoustic. Thank you!

Nice to hear an acoustic guitar DI being processed by a Modeler. Have you explored the EQ options? I'm particularly interested in "notch filters" and if the unit has a dedicated EQ that can target a specific small frequency range based on a "numerical Hz" setting. Thanks

Thank you, good sound! Could you tell me, how is octaver works on acoustic guitar?

I always thank you for all your reviews; helping us to choose the right one for my use. I have a question. Can I connect Ampero ii with a microphone for my acoustic guitar which doesn't have any pickup and preamp? Is it also possible?
@LeoGibsonGtr2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you so much, I'm happy to be of some help! I think that you can not, in fact you don't have XLR input with power supply for the microphone. There are very few amp modelling pedalboards that can do this, like the Quad Cortex (with 2 mic preamps) and the Line 6 Helix (the big one). Thank you once more!!!

Great! I have a question, how is the guitar signal taken? Is it with a piezo in the guitar or something else? I have a n acoustic guitar and thinking of putting an piezo in it, but if you use something else id like to know because this acoustic sounds are great

Thank you! Yes, I'm using the piezo of my acoustic guitar in this video.

Leo, i need some help. I want a pedal for use with a Yamanha LS 16. Do you prefer a Boss AD 10 or Hotone ampero 2. I want use the piezo and a mic, Boss and Ampero has a stereo input, so a i'm thinking in this way.

Hi Robert, I don't have a BOSS AD 10, therefore I can't tell from direct experience...I'm sorry. Thank you for your message!

Loved the demo song! I wonder how the POD Go would work with using the acoustic IR's? The POD Go has an acoustic simulator pedal, but I'm not that impressed with it. Keep up the great work Leo. God bless and Merry Christmas 🎄🎸😎
@LeoGibsonGtr3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I thing that also the POD GO is gonna work pretty well with an acoustic IR...I have never tried the acoustic pedal, even if I have the suspect that it more useful to transform the sound of an electric guitar into acoustic, rather than improving the sound of an electrified acoustic...but I have to try... Thank you once more and God bless you too!!

@@LeoGibsonGtr Are your acoustic IR's on your web page for download? I haven't checked.

Hi, they are included in the Stomp II. So far I have not yet done IRs for acoustic guitar. Thank you!

One question: how to reamp in the box? I like to record on Reaper and change things from Ampero 2 hardware. I record the Dry signal from in 7 but after I don't know how to continue. Thanks
@LeoGibsonGtr3 жыл бұрын
Hi, basically in your DAW you sent the track to ramp to a usb out channel of the Ampero and in the Ampero you set the input to the same usb channel used in the DAW. Thank you for your question!

Dear Leo, I have a silly yet interesting question - to which extent the sound will be deteriorated if connect electric guitar and use: A. acoustic input channel with acoustic IR and B. electric input channel and acoustic IR. In other words, how close can one get towards acoustic guitar sound having only electric guitar and Hotone Stomp II?
@LeoGibsonGtr3 жыл бұрын
Hi, you can get a flavour of an acoustic guitar, but I wouldn't say that you are gonna get "too close" Hope this help Thank you!

Grazie mille
@LeoGibsonGtr3 жыл бұрын
