lovely video insert to the song, cut and synched perfectly -- excellent edit. now, on to the song -- i loved it! a very subtle but still scintillating reworking of the Bryan Ferry original -- the guitar work ( lead and bass), especially, is very thoughtfully done, and it is almost a counterpoint ro the original Ferry version's guitar overture -- if i remembered the original notation correctly. Your version captures a lightness that is more freeing and with an added airy expansiveness. The percussive beat layered over by the synth is a love-note to the eighties without being overly dated, it has enough retro cool but not localized in that seaside cabana playfulness, and as for the vocal range the singing sets nicely against the composition with just the right groove and vibe. all in all, lovely -- it captures that affaires d'amour by the 'cotê d'azur in the summer' feel! this is officially on my playlist where i take the boat out into open waters; thank you for this, i think you have hit on the right balance for your sound -- please keep it coming! bravo, guys! merci et encore!❤
