They are not "late" to this sound, it was always accessible and well-known, it's about choice and preference, as well as adapting the playlist to the crowd/place. It's not like we thought theres only minimal out here and progressive house/acid doesn't exist (wow breaking news). Some prefer laser music, some prefer more intricate patterns, if you don't understand it doesn't mean it's boring :D

Like minimal tech doesn't have the same pattern every song, same beat. All genres of techno are repetitive. And don't make me start on the community that comes to a minimal-tech party. Discusting and unrespectfull people. I dont enjoy being in that type of environment.
