This is my favorite version of Amphibia. I am so proud of good old MarMar. She’s coming to her own. She’s the one that sent us to Amphibia in the first place. The show should’ve been about her this whole time. I’m so glad that she is the hero.

I still strongly appreciate that this series took the time to emotionally address the whole "Am I the original?" thing. That was a bleak-ass thing to drop on a young fanbase and simply never elaborate on, in the actual show. Genuinely killed my investment in the finale, raised uncomfortable questions that distracted from the effect of everything else. This fan continuation didn't need to philosophically resolve it, but it makes a huge difference to have Anne discuss it.

This is a story that i have played about eight times. Its a great story that continues the Amphibia universe with ab amazing main plot (BTW, parts 35-37 have been released separately as of this writing). The only negative are some of the sound effects and drop-ins that punctuated these chapters. They tend to deflect the story and sometimes they do make little sense. Sometimes they do sound like they made a turn off at the Hanna-Barbera offramp. But the best part of this whole thing starts at 39:40: Anne and Sasha's confessions of love. The drawing is amazing, but you're dubbing choice of music over this is haunting and beautiful. Kudos on that one. Not to mention at 1:01:55, where Anne and Sasha talk about the latter's scar. That moment when Anne kisses Sasha's back was an extremely heartfelt and loving moment. One last thing: #Sashannemarcy. At least I THINK that's how the ship goes. A great way of introducing the concept of polyamory. Can you just imagine the s-storm Disney would have to deal with if that was greenlighted? All in all, an amazing work!
