Add a 10-100 uF capacitor across your power input on the board... That should help with the noise AND the audible thump when turning on.

I know what you're saying but I'm not sure I understand exactly where to put it and if I could see a diagram that would be great. Sorry, I don't do Facebook... A more detailed explanation, perhaps? In your builds, the way you connect your power to the amp is by the input power jack. In most cases, only two pins are used on that socket. Mount the 'decoupling capacitor' (that's what it's called) between those two pins, paying close attention to polarity. If there is no space there, see if you can mount the capacitor on the underside of the board to the socket pins. Use a small electrolytic capacitor with 10 to 100 uF, with a rated voltage higher than your input voltage. In other words, mount the cap in parallel to the power leads. Place it as close to the point where power enters the circuit as you can. Polarity is very important. You can find those caps in almost everything you take apart... just salvage one from an old internet router or a modem. Great to know I was about to buy the other one on amazon that’s with a fancy knob and says 100wX2 and it has a black cover w a diagram any ways I went for the two you mention the one with Bluetooth and 3.5mm and I made many test it should give you 21.2W from 12.5-27v with atleast 1A crazy how good this are , that’s true I didn’t find any problems with any poop sound , there is two versions one with a lady voice when connected and mine was with just a tone . Less than 12.5 v and you get less watts it could go up to 5v heheh crazy tech but I’ll distort sooner on any input source you put quicker . I just wanted to buy for mini speaker test and or a future diy boom box install

How many watts do the speakers have you be for this bluetooth module to work ?
