For a clean-sheet Android TV box, with no Emuelec or games (user can do all that his/her own), the price would be even lower🤏 Note: Emuelec runs on Amlogic chips (not all of them, though) only!⚠️

I gave up on that and went with a 5.5" handheld. My TV is too big for retro games. No configuration will make them look good. I tried... but NES, SNES, PS1 ect. Games on a 65" tv is just too much screen for those old games. Any tv/monitor over 35" is just makes them look like muddy crap. PS2 and above you can go with a bigger screen if you can upscale to 1080p. A handheld works better for me

Ill say it again. If they only put on systems they know it can run and it would be a far better box abd better value for money. China seems to be a lawless land where anything goes ( a bit like Mos eisley). You should put the game speed and frame rate on the display, because some games run at 30 internally but 60 refresh rate.. which does look a lot better than 30 fps

put the sd card into your PC. depending on the sd card, you may need Paragon Linux filesystem support in your PC. find the 'roms' folder or find the 'download' folder and try to add games there.

manufacturers of these devices saturate the market and use valuable resources to make already old tech sticks, you cant get a powerful machine with 40 bucks and with this size you cant really fit a powerful cpu; recently i made myself a great deal (because i had a bit of money to spend, i was using a game box) and got a midrange 10 inches android tablet with an Helio P22 processor (clocked 2,3 ghz 8 core) and it solved all my retro problem, no need for a hdtv for this kind of stuff (i know that these sticks are for a specific market but they are getting out of hand now) , thats my 2 cents

Strangely enough, I was just thinking about the original Game Stick… that I still have sitting in the box, unopened, and hiding from me somewhere in this house! Now the question is, do I even bother opening it at this point? It’s probably not worth much now, but I would imagine like anything else you leave unopened, it’ll eventually skyrocket to some ridiculous amount. The thing is, I’m not really a “money guy” (which is most likely why I’m always broke), and just the thought of having to deal with haggling idiots is already making me want to smash it against my temple, and pray that the next thing I see is my beautiful corpse as I slowly float awaaaaay…. Awaaaaay….Awaaaaay!

@@Bogues_88 I really like the idea of it, unfortunately the gamepad is fugly, and it’s not gonna run anything worth playing. Like you said, it’s crap! The only reason I got it in the first place was because it was a clearance item (can’t remember how much I paid for it, but knowing me, I’d be surprised if it was more than $5), but as crappy as it is, it will be worth significantly more than that around the 20-25 year point. But again, knowing me, I’ll end up selling it a few weeks before I should, and that’s when it will be worth 20 grand… the black cloud above my head ain’t just there for decoration, of that I am sure!
