ഒരു സിനിമ നടൻ മരിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ കരഞ്ഞിട്ട് ഉണ്ടങ്കിൽ അതു ഹാനിഫ ഇക്കാ മരിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആയിരുന്നു എനിക്ക് അത്രയും ഇഷ്ടം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു ഹാനിഫാക്കയോട് എന്നു എനിക്ക് മനസിലായത് ❤❤❤

These kind of programmes commemorating the underlooked or underappreciated artists of our industry is of the utmost importance. Malayalam industry's true strength unlike other industries of India is not just the so called "superstars". It's legends like these who gave our movie viewing experience an another edge!! As a malayalee who was born and brought up in Mumbai and had an exposure to a multiculturalism in many aspects, and specially in other language movies too like Tamil,Hindi & Marathi. I can arrogantly say that the quality and quantity of supporting actors of Malayalam industry is just incomparable. It's just crazy!!

Exactly. The contribution of supporting actors really is understated. Their performances is what makes the movies from the 80s, 90s so enjoyable. From my limited exposure to other industries, I don’t think other industries had such talent among the supporting characters. Makes Malayalam industry stand out.

@daniel11111 absolutely right!! The same reason why the number of re-watchable Malayalam movies are becoming lower & lower. No doubt that our cinemas are still the best in terms of writing, direction, contents & other technical aspects. But our movies doesn't have a soul anymore,due to the absence of those breed of actors. There are no classic comedy movies in Malayalam anymore after 2010s.
