Good morning engineer, how can I change the tag of an instrument with fieldbus protocol using the AMS Trex field configurator with an external source. I already have the instrument commissioned and addressed but it won't let me edit the address or the tag because a tag is already assigned by the DCS in advance thanks

As per my experience with that issue, you need to remove the old device from the FF devices list and then reconnect again and configure as new
