The story if you didn't want to read it in the video: The story goes that Aeolus, the ruler of the winds, had a daughter named Alcyone, who was married to Ceyx, the king of Thessaly. Calm, peaceful days. They were happy together in Trachis, and according to Pseudo-Apollodorus' account, often sacrilegiously called each other "Zeus " and "Hera". This angered Zeus, so while Ceyx was at sea, the god threw a thunderbolt at his ship. Ceyx appeared to Alcyone as an apparition to tell her of his fate, and she threw herself into the sea in her grief. Out of compassion, the gods changed them both into halcyon birds. Thus, describe them as "Halcyon days".

風神アイオロスの娘ハルキュオネとその夫ケユクスは大変仲の良い夫婦であったが、自分達のことを全知全能の神ゼウスとその正妻ヘラのような仲のようだと例えたことが生意気だとゼウスが怒り、航海中のケユクスを嵐に遭遇させで殺してしまう。 夫の死を嘆き悲しむハルキュオネは夫の後を追って海に身を投げたが、ヘラは哀れに思い二人をカワセミに変えて再会させる。二人は鳥となった後も仲睦まじく暮らした。 鳥になったハルキュオネは海の上に浮かぶ巣を作り冬至の頃に卵を産むので、父である風神アイオロスはハルキュオネが卵を産む間、海に風を吹かせず凪にした。このことからカワセミは波を静める鳥、荒れた海を穏やかに鎮める鳥となった。
