Amsterdam & Brussels 🌷spring getaway with friends!

Hi~ I've been back in NYC for 2 weeks but haven't had a chance to film a new video! Why?? Because I recently committed to something new and it has been keeping me VERY busy!! 😅

In the meantime, for those of you who enjoy travel vlogs, I hope you enjoy the highlights from my recent trip to Amsterdam and Brussels. It was my annual trip with girl friends, and also my first time vlogging while traveling with them. I generally prefer to put my phone away and enjoy being present while traveling, but it's also nice to capture these memories on film. What do you think? xx

I also loved the silent vlog. The tulips were beautiful but I have to say that my favorite part of the entire video was seeing all of the bagged supplements (the pharmacy moment). Only because that's how I travel (recovering from illness) and I always feel like I'm the only one!! 😂 Welcome back!

@@hellocatwalkcity in a small town called Wageningen but I used to go to A'dam every other weekend and stay over at my friend's place. I left the country for good the year of 1st King's day, after the Queen stepped down. It was exactly like that :) maybe slightly crazier. No matter how dirty the night before is, the city is always clean again in the morning, right?

The handle doesn’t bother me at all when I wear the bag crossbody, probably bc it’s a simple single strap that’s somewhat malleable and not rigid against the body. I absolutely love that it has the top handle so I can use it crook of the arm for a more dainty look sometimes! Hope that helps.

Oh yes! I mentioned in an earlier video that I made an exception with this bag bc it can be worn multiple ways! I wore it crossbody style in Amsterdam bc it was crowded but then wore it backpack style when we went outside of Amsterdam to the less crowded areas. I felt very safe.

How did you like the mini anchor bag as your primary bag for the trip? How did you get along with the opening getting in and out if it in lines etc?

I loved it! My friends kept complimenting it and asking about it. I wore it crossbody on some times and then backpack style other days. I really appreciated the versatility to switch it up. The zipper requires two hands if you put the zipper pulls in the center - so you pull one zipper to the right and the other zipper to the left. I liked the security of it as I knew no one could easily get in and out of it without my noticing. But if you prefer quicker access, one handed - I suggest you put both zipper pulls on one side. So that way, you only need to open 1 zipper to access, not 2. Hope that makes sense!

It was especially crowded on King’s Day in Amsterdam and I do think it’s generally peak season bc of the tulips! The tulip festival was in full swing. Brussels was quieter and a lot less crowded. Hope that helps.
