That's heresy, calling the Nikola a KingSong wheel ;-) Here's a memory tip for you - all KingSong wheels have boring names like 14a/b/d/d, 16a/b/c/s, 18s/l, etc. Gotway gives names to all of their wheels; Mten3, MCM, ACM, MSuper, Monster, Tesla, etc.

A little overview of my EUC usage: I bought my first EUC (also a V8) July last year and have done around 1600 miles on it, mostly commuting to and from work. One thing I haven't concentrated on is any tricks - I really should take the time to learn to go backwards, but I just haven't put in any time to learn! I was originally considering a cheaper wheel, but looking back that would have been a very bad move - I think you would grow out of anything less than a V8 very quickly. I currently have an MSuper X 100v inbound, although I am not sure it is the ideal wheel for me. I may sell it on quickly and get a KingSong 18XL - the extended range of the KingSong, better ergonomics along with the better trolley handle and auto wheel turn off on lift will likely outweigh the higher performance of the Gotway ... but I guess i'll see! I like the format of your videos very much - keep it up!
@NonStopNeal5 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, I agree the V8 or a Kingsong 16s maybe is the perfect starter wheel. Msuper X gets a lot of positive hype and seems like a more aggressive style of wheel. The 18L or XL are both amazing. Proper cruisers for sure. I think that will be my next wheel. Thanks for sharing man.

Hi Neal, another GREAT video, shame it was only 36 mins I need an hour of NonStopNeal evey week, I accidentally bent my trolley handle so now a bit fiddly to get back in , so yes would be nice to see how you change it and the tyre hope you do show us that, I don't know if you remember I told you I was going to buy my first GoPro the hero 5 got it from Amazon , hated it , 3 reasons I sent it back,1, the image quality was no better than my £30 Eken H9 great camera, 2, i watched your night time video Newcastle i Think with the GPS overlay which looked very cool , but my one kept losing the gps signal so couldn't use that feature, but the deal breaker for me was there is no setting on Gopro for time stamp, I like to look back at my videos and like to know what day and TIME I was out on my V8, so no more GoPro's for me . but 2 days ago got the Garmin virb ultra 30 £300 again from Amazon expensive but I love all the different GPS data overlays there are so many to choose from and all kinds of data a lot of fun and it has not lost the GPS signal and the image quality is better than the hero 5, stabilisation is good , obviously not as good as the GoPro 7 . So now I can have the Garmin on a chest strap and the Eken on a selfie stick like your setup, I just need to get a mic to use with my phone and see if I can get it to sync up with your tip on clicking your finger hope that works, last night was going to buy another wheel on ebay it was the kingsong 14s used but went for a crazy £545 used, that's more than I paid New for my V8. anyway if you can do those trolley and tyre videos would be great, cheers Ing-ee, your the legend Neal

I have my new tire ready and im gonna wait for my next hotel in Berlin to see if it has better lighting. Such a shame about your experience with the Gopro 5. The time stamp should be on each file cause i use that to help organise all my footage. Ahh anyways sounds like the Garmin is doing a great job. Its a solid camera and ive considered it a few times. Yeah some wheels on ebay can go for heaps. The V8 is a great all rounder. I feel that the next would be a 18inch for more cruising long distance style rides. We will see. Thanks again mate. Legend.

I dont like having to use an app on a phone for my EUC. Phones are expensive and I could easily drop it. I think the wheels should come with a small plastic device that you hold in your hand. Maybe like some kind of wireless game controller. You can turn on and off the lights, sound the horn, etc.

I'm pretty sure your Kingsong 18L review would have a lot more views if it was named XL, like you said. I'm very pleased with mine. Coming up on 300km even though it's a bit too much snow on a lot of streets in Gothenburg. But the bike lanes are kept clear from snow and ice. So my every day commute isn't a problem. But I don't think you'll be doing much tricks on an XL. It's more of a cruiser than agile. Longing for summer more than ever, it's gonna be and epic summer on wheel. =)

An idea ... you said you did Parkour ... Can you give some tips on how to fall safely from a EUC? At some point we will all take a tumble riding these things. Different techniques for different speeds maybe? I can start getting mentally prepared and know what to do. Please note that I am not suggesting that you deliberately try falling from your EUC at speed to demonstrate how to fall ... just show us the technique, on a mat or on grass.

Another Awesome video! You have a great mix of riding adventure, enthusiasm and conversation. What do I have? Disclaimer: I am rough on wheels. I am 220 pounds and a very aggressive rider. I have the KingSong 16s, MSuper V3s+, MSuper X and KingSong 18XL. I can't ride the InMotion V10. It overheats too quick. To be fair, the KS16s and KS18XL complain too much about over acceleration and braking when I am riding them. MSuper X - My favorite off road wheel. Also good for that extra top end speed MSuper V3s+ My favorite aggressive city wheel. ( lower and less bounce than the MSX) KS18XL My favorite luxury cruiser. easy casual Sunday explorer. (almost self driving) KS16s My favorite trick wheel. I also lend it out to beginners. (addiction starter) Note:My MSuper V3s+ has the 2000w motor and over sized mosfets. Because of the constant rain in the area, I much prefer grip tape over rubber surfaces. The rubber gets slippery when wet. I got a roll of grip tape, traced out and cut 10 pair of replacement surfaces. I just peel off and replace the grip tape every 500 miles.

I could be wrong, but NYC put a ban on fully electric bikes (as opposed to peddle assisted ones) because of the potential speed, not so much the breaking, so maybe it's the same for Germany in regards to EUCs? With some of these hitting upwards of 30 MPH they might've just said "let's just blanket ban them to make life easier," which sucks. As for the current slate of videos, I think any tutorials or how to videos would be of help to people, especially since Inmotion doesn't have as much representation (possibly why the V10 video got so many views.)
@NonStopNeal5 жыл бұрын
Yes Alpha ! Yeah thats seems to be the case in Germany. Just ban them for now until we figure out how to legalise them. There is a group in Berlin ive contacted for net week who seem to be doing a lot of work to try and get some rules set so people can ride the ewheels. Awesome to read and would be amazing to sit down with them and possibly do a mini Q and A. Yeah Inmotion really doesnt seem to get anywhere near as much hype as the Gotway and Kingsong . I might try contacting them again.
