There's no way you can see all the interesting things in Amsterdam in 2 days unless you're the "If today is Tuesday, this must be Berlin" kind of tourist.

I'm not claiming that you can see everything in two days. Of course, you can't. But one can see enough to satisfy one's basic desire for Amsterdam. However, you could spend two days just exploring the Rijksmuseum if you want to examine it in detail.

That might be because we actually made it. We experienced all that we planned to.

As many people, as many different approaches and desires. Therefore, if you roughly follow my plan, see the things we saw, it can be done in 2 days. However, as I mentioned before, for someone, 2 days might be too little just for one museum. This is one's choice. The option is there for those who do not have more time available but still want to go and see; it might be good enough.
