I just saw that a woman on instagram had asked some elite runners at Berlin marathon if they could imagine running for 4 hours like she was going to do, and they said that they couldn't fathom it and thought it sounded more challenging than their (faster) marathon. I wasn't sure if they were just being nice, but perhaps time on feet is a bigger factor than I would have guessed!

I think the marathon is incredibly hard for everyone whether you can do it in 2 or 7 hours.. Anyone who finishes a marathon and has put everything into it deserves the utmost respect in my humble opinion. And then I watch people doing 100 mile races and think... WTF is this!!!!
