This was wonderful! Do I understand correctly that this is the bell tower of the Westerkerk in Amsterdam? I am trying to learn about the bells and the tower itself as I try to turn a memory of my husband's grandfather into a children's book. It is a challenge to make it accurate in the telling and in illustrating it from the U.S., having never been in the tower myself and only speaking English. Grandfather Eddy described in a 1945 letter how he had pestered his parents to be allowed up in the bell tower around (1908) when he was 8 years old. It is a wonderful story to me and so I enjoyed watching and hearing the bells played. Thank you!
