This is day 3 of our trip to the Netherlands and Belgium.
Zaanse Schans is a picturesque, historic village located in the Netherlands, near Amsterdam, known for its well-preserved windmills, traditional Dutch houses, and crafts. It offers a glimpse into the country’s 18th and 19th-century life, where visitors can explore working windmills, see clog-making demonstrations, and learn about Dutch cheese-making. The open-air museum is a popular tourist destination that combines beautiful countryside views with Dutch cultural heritage.
