AMTAC Blades Minuteman

I carry mine with the deep sheath in my right pocket. Easy to draw reverse edge in, hammer grip, or point forward palm assist for a punch. It’s really one of the best designs out there in my opinion. I’m ordering a Magnus during the annual Thanksgiving sale this year.

Something I like about the amtac blade grip is the increasing contour between the punyo and the middle of the handle. For me, this lends a little of what you observed on the Kryptos blade, in that the increasing handle girth keeps the blade from sliding backwards in your hand upon thrusting. I don't really see that design feature on the Rat or the Dynamis blade.

I think the Minuteman is the Goldilocks knife. The Northman is too small, the Magnus is too big, but the Minuteman is just right, for EDC.

Agreed. I can’t come around to the Northman; having a handle that’s too short for reverse grip is a no-go for me.

I have a dynamis revere and I like it a lot, however because of the profile I can never get it very sharp. Otherwise i am a fan. I am planning on picking up a minuteman as well. My favorite right now is the gypsy lil nasty. 🤘

Any idea if the amtac blades are made in the USA? For that price I would think so but they never confirm it when asked

I saw a video of yours where you posted a series of knives- I recently took a Kyle defoor class and was interested in the kryptos knife, but was wondering about concealability - I'm 5'11 and 230 lb, with a flat enough waist that i can easily keep my Staccato c2 with modlite in a phlster floodlight under a tank top without issue. have you ever AIWB'ed that kryptos? I'm wondering if it's only an option for the? above 6' crowd.

Yes, but it requires you dress around it in a very deliberate fashion. I’m going to do a concealment video at some point in the near term…for real people with real carry kit, not instagram “EDC.”

No. I’ve never handled one of those but initial impressions show no benefit to the Seaf over the minuteman.
