Some people might think the cab baggage cars are locomotives since they were originally locomotives, Amtrak f40phs. The car body is the same and they still have the original cab and head lights and battery and fuel tank but the motors and fans have been removed.

Did you know that the overhauled NPCUs now have red marker lights on the back now? Those not overhauled lack this.

This is something I have been wondering for a couple years now. Why do some surfliners have horizons/amfleets and others have superliners?

what were those boxcars at 0:53?
@as-guardianangel93607 жыл бұрын
A Normal Railfan To transport other goods to were Amtrak may be headed, for instance, Texas Eagle would be going to Texas then what the boxcars had in it was/is product going to Texas

Old Amtrak Mail cars; they used them commonly in the 80s and the 90s. They started becoming rare in 1999 but are used on the Texas Eagle sometimes

Amazing catches! That was so rare, especially with 90208! Is that like your 5th time seeing it? I also loved the open shot of 8th street yard, as there was so much cool stuff in there. I also like that private car on the surfliner. A plus video!!!!!

That's rare, too! The scene where you were passing by a yard was pretty cool, you got a look at 3751, a bunch of older and newer cars, F59PHIs, and even an AMTK geneset! You are welcome for watching.
