Amtrak's Talgo Demonstrator Touring the California Southern Railroad

The locomotives are the new Athearn Genesis P40s. As you can see in the video, they have working beacons and immaculate detail. The business car as a Kato I purchased many years ago. I built the Talgo train out of a couple of Electrotren 6 car sets, plus a couple of add-on cars. Electrotren is a Spanish company. I changed the wheels out on the Talgo cars to Reboxx because the original wheels had huge flanges that would make the cars pop up when going over tunouts. The couplers were transitioned to Kadee using their European style #17 couplers. This was at the California Southern Model Railroad Club's most recent open house.
