Silly question but what happen to the Horizon dinette car

The answer to that question is the dinettes belong to Amtrak not Amtrak California so when Covid hit Amtrak California give them back to Amtrak and haven’t asked for them back when that café could be allowed opened why I don’t know

California returned them to Amtrak because they were leased and the state only kept cars it owned or paid to rebuild. The state wants to get rid of the 14 comets as soon as it can.

There were supposed to be 15stops. How come the trsin left Bakersfield and made its first stop in Fresno? What happened to Shafter,Corcoran and Hanford?

I hate when Amtrak uses these coaches for the late train to Bakersfield since I get on in Merced people aren’t to friendly to sharing the seat next to them
