Thank you very much Sandeep Sharma Ji. I was in AMU during 1980s (1980-88) and since then never visited it again. It has changed a lot, almost 50 % new and beautiful. Roads have become very beautiful and wide. Many more residential Halls, Departments, Centres of Learning, etc. have come into existence since I left AMU but I never forgot it......Aligarh is in my mind, heart and soul. Long live Aligarh, I love you Aligarh.

I was at AMU fro 1956 to 1964. Azad library and Kennedy Centre were constructed during that time. 5,000 was the total no: of students. I lived in Aftab Hostel. Now it is a different world all together but am sure the environment is still the same. Those 8 years r an unforgettable period of life which made a 16 yr old into a successful Engineer who served n earned gd name in many countries of Africa. Thanks to AMU... Long live AMU.. I'm a student here. There is no dress code for college but for schools only. And there dresses are only uniform like any other schools. In graduation,there is women's college but when you're doing PG courses , everyone studies together. And most importantly there is no such things like only Muslims can study here.
