It's to see things have changed for the better in Amundsen. Not saying that it was bad when I attended. It's just that there's more to Amundsen now than back in the 90s, things that I wish was available back then.

Anna Pavichevich I like this new approach, New principal! Wearing those white shirts just didn't really make us feel any safer. It felt more like, we were branded negatively as one of the worse, gang-infested school by simply wearing those shirts (yes, I was there when the 'shanking' happened and when public arrests of students were happening right in front of our eyes, it was scary times indeed) People would ask why we needed to wear them. Of course our instant answer was that because we're a school full of gang members. Thanks for this. These students are indeed happy. And it's good to promote self-expression, since this is HS after all. This is all where all the magic happens (good and bad - which is beneficial mostly) :) Lucky for the students to have such a principal!

Amundsen has really changed for the better. It's a level one school, and I'm applying for the IB Program. My mom and I listened to the principal and we were nothing but impressed by the amount they changed thanks to the new principal.
