By far the most underrated anime I've ever watched... I've watched probably over 500 anime at this point, and this one will forever be in my top 5. What they're able to do in this show in just 12 episodes is insane... they had great pacing, ace of a story, lovely characters, enough romance and comedy to get you hooked... it's a genuine masterpiece.

Here are a few I would suggest for sad (Not exactly sure what your definition of sad is but I'll do my best): To Your Eternity Fruits Basket (new Version) Your Name (movie) Plastic Memories Violet Evergarden Your Lie in April (Highly Reccomend you start off with this one) Erased (Watch this after Your Lie in April) Sorry if that's a lot, but those are some of my favorites. Your Lie in April is still probably in my top 5 anime of all time, it's really amazing.

Bro has special powers (he can control someone else’s body for acouple seconds but his main body collapsed whenever he uses it) he uses this power to cheat and got exposed (others with superpowers like him caught on to him) and forced him to go to a school with people like superpower like him. His work is to find other superpower people like him with charlotte. Later on his sister dies and he is now like this (he does stupid things feeling down about himself) charlotte helps him out and he regain his will to do something. Later on he realize he has a older brother he forget about his older brother is a time traveler and use his power to go back in time (something like that) and the more he uses it the more his eyesight gets blurry til he’s blind. So the main character realize he can take other people powers away and he uses his older brother power to go back in time so he can save his sister and then his last goal was to consume everyone power so everything can be normal again, but he consumed too much and is trying to resist going crazy. Charlotte is waiting for him to return. ❤ (I read this a few months ago so I made a few mistakes about this)
