By the end: THAT WAS FLIPPING AWESOME. The animation was incredibly unique and beautiful, the dub was awesome, the fanservice actually FITS the plot, which is very rare... Like... The plot wouldn't work without the fanservice, they go hand in hand, and the product of the two is perfect. The action scenes are amazing, the plot is creative, the characters are quirky and fun.. Ragyo Kiryuin's theme song is badass, everything's badass, also... Don't lose your waaaaaaaaay~

I'm sooo glad I watched this amv! I would have never even thought of watching Kill la Kill but now I've watched all the episodes and it was pretty awesome! I do agree that some parts were a bit 'over the top' but this is still one of my favorite anime...So great job with making this video!

...I can't believe I never realized Episode 21's fight resolution was a total role reversal of Episode 3. Now she's holding HER bleeding body by the scalp. (Yeah, yeah, big achievement, Ryuko. This anime is really good! So what if the uniforms are too sexy? You will get used to it.No big deal. This anime has really good story behind it, badass fighting scenes from different perspectives and is somewhat funny too. I really recommend this anime!

After watching this amv, I realised that I still didn't get used to Ryuko's Kamui transformation. It is because its design was different before the battle against Satsuki. The design I liked was the one after Ryuko understood how to use Senketsu.

Watch it before rating it they pretty much stop fanservice at episode 5 or 6 and stops almost completly by 13 (besides the outfits those 2 wear) and even when they do theres so much action you literally forget about it by the end

There's something that's been swirling around in my head this last couple days... Who scarred Senketsu's eye? When they first meet, Ryuko wields her scissor with her left hand and she slashes upward, slanting left, right to left, and she cuts something in half. But Senketsu's scar in slanted right, perpendicular to his eye. This means Ryuko could've *possibly* messed up his eye, but the cut would've gone horizontally across his eye, not vertically. To scar his eye in such a way, someone would've have to slash downward, slanting right, right to left. Nui never cut Senketsu's eye because she never found him, and why would Dr. Matoi create Senketsu with such a design flaw? I mean, Junketsu has both eyes... Also, Senketsu never brings up that Ryuko rendered him half-blind. AND Senketsu gets it back in the final fight against Ragyo, albeit temporarily, so he couldn't have been created that way.

Maybe it was a kind of restraining bolt. Like you said, Junketsu has both eyes but it couldn't give a rat's ass whose wearing it and is fully aware of the whole life fiber thing while Senketsu is very loyal to Ryuko and doesn't see her a food source but as a partner, and doesn't remember anything about the life fibers or their mission. I think his missing eye is meant to symbolize that he's blind to the truth while at the same time being more focused on what's important (friendship).

Now I've never seen this show but it kinda looks like the Gurren Lagan of magical girl animes or something similar,It doesn't seem to take itself too seriously yet it's still epic.
