I just needed and excuse to put all Varian scenes together. Also I suck at amv’s with lyrics. What do I do? Do I listen to the lyrics or the music … can’t compute.
Look at little Varians denial .. beautiful. Rise my little villain … rise and probably become good again but still I enjoy you being heartbroken … I am a bad person.
No seriously I really like how much Varian is in denial and he sees everyone at fault for what he is doing expect him. I think if he actually would accept that he is no better … probably worse … than the others, he would break under his regret so it’s easier to run away than face this feelings. Love it!

That’s not really true. Sure, Varian’s in Denial to an extent, but everyone else IS to blame. Fredric is entirely responsible for this mess. Rapunzel refused to take action against her father to help Varian. She couldn’t have helped him during the storm, but she had SO many opportunities to Do so afterwards. She and Fredric are have just as much fault in this mess. Varian is a traumatized child. Of course he’s acting this way. Rapunzel and Fredric are adults who are acting like children. They have no right to put all the blame on Varian’s shoulders. They are responsible for what happened. People say that Varian is in denial? Well so are Rapunzel and Fredric. And they remain in denial for the rest of the series. Varian ends up taking responsibility for his actions. They never do.

When I make mine I usually listen to the lyrics, decide what scenes would be good, and then do the transitions and such to the beat of the music. It takes a lot of trial and error to get it looking good. I guess it’s kinda easy for me cause I listen to the song a lot before I even start, imagining the mv in my head. Then I make it. Great job tho!

I usally have trouble finding a song fitting and I then go as it fits and let it craft iself (the only thing I had in my mind was the scene with the learn from your mother" and that I wanted a happy Varian combo at the beginning. But I have trouble composing around lyrics alot ... because I don't like it if scene drags out if it doesn't suit the music and if the lyrics has a long word and there is a perfect scene but it just doesn't work with the music I lose the beat ... you can actually see it here in a few scenes (the second refrain for example :D) Your right I should probably plan more ahead with scenes and music. I have to say I don't blame varian for gong as insane as he did I would be straight up metal if I had to deal with what he did. Also truth be told Rapunzel did handle it very poorly and could have avoided this completely. What I would have done was instead of standing there the way she did I know she was frozen in fear but being a leader you have to keep a cool head no matter what situation arises she could have just hugged him and patted his back to calm him down before he got even more hysterical told him to come inside the room and said to the guards and Nigel that horrible man that varian would be staying by her and Cassandras side during the storm and evacuation plan and not leave in to others to order stave to have a subject thrown from the castle in those harsh weather conditions. now that I think of it does Nigel really have any authority to order the staff around a give orders because he may be the kings adviser but is he of senior authority in the castle staff how does the hierarchy of staff work if queen Ariana were there she would not have allowed varian to be thrown from the castle no matter how he was acting she was the one who actually tried to talk to him while he held her hostage and tried to get him to listen. What I would have done was have varian stay by raps and Cassandras side until the storm was over wait while her parents came back tell them what happened and then go to old corona together see varian dad and the damage and have varian stay in the castle under the king and queen care while they find a solution because he is way to young to stay home alone without anyone to care for him and I am sure the king and queen would have been happy to take care of him for Quirin because of there old friendship that would have been the logical thing to do. Also do you find it insane that when the king neglected to take care of the rock situation in corona by not listening to quirins warnings it got so bad that it prompted the son of that sane person to take matters into his own had and then events unraveled one after another and now the son of the person used the thing that the king was trying to save by unleashing the rock sacrificed the kingdoms safety for the monarchy and endanger everyone by varian going insane after being ignored and tuned away for help talk about your cruel irony what do you think

I think she reacted appropriately at the storm but she should have looked for Varian. She didn’t care enough to even find out WHAT exactly his problem was instead she had a painter block because she felt terrible but she didn’t act on it but kept it inside and tried to remove it by putting her head at something else. She first finds out what happened in “the quest for Varian” , meaning she wasn’t considering helping Varian after the storm. She didn’t do anything to prevent the rumor spreading of Varian attacking her and … I just think she had very poor judgement and is still way to naive sometimes. Taking Varian inn would have been a good solution but they didn’t know what happened before it was too late. And Varian wouldn’t have come with them after all his research is in old corona. I think the fault for all this lies on the kings shoulders … but also on Rapunzel for breaking her promise and being a airhead. (The writers probably did not intend for this but that’s how I see it) BUT Varian completely lost it and he is in denial not sure but he feels like he was driven in a corner. He doesn’t think the situation through anymore and reacts badly to “help” because his trust (probably his first time) was crushed and he lost his father after he disappointed him (and Quirin disappointed him too. After all Quirin is playing along with the kings plan of “not doing anything and being a shitty king”) Also please put some paragraphs in your comments so it is easier to read I had trouble understanding it ^^" (I am not native after all)

how nice of Varian to kidnapped and tried to kill her mom and friend -_- but later freed his dad after he worked with villians when she returned. sorry but he trapped his father accident and asked for help once which wouldn't matter since she didn't have the cure then. also, Rap had every right to be happy her mother is safe, I love Varian but the fandom suck up to him so hard they can't see his fault at honestly he was at his best as season 3.

@@aprilpearson6923 But Varian is the only character who is self aware enough to realise he messed up, the "adults" never do, he should never have been thrown into a blizzard, falsely accused of attacking a royal, hunted out off his home by masked gaurds on the king's orders, left alone for months on end and being imprisoned with Andrew instead of getting help. As for trapping his own father, he only resorted to experimenting on the rocks when his dad lied to the king about old corona. All of the blame is placed on Varian's shoulders when it shouldn't have.

Jasmin Erdbeerkäse he doesn't blame Rapunzel for trapping his dad. He blames her for touching the rocks and getting him involved and never helping him. She really should've never gotten him involved and she should've been more persistent about solving the problem instead of taking her dad's side with keeping the crisis from their people.
