The fact that they got back together, after Ren was taken from Nana, only to have him ripped away from her in the most horrible way really makes this hit home. Ren never dated another girl while making it big with Trapnest. He easily could have had a stream of girlfriends and flings and her, he waited for Nana. And I’m about to be corny, but he’s gonna be waiting again for her to come to him

Watched nana 5 years ago one of my favorite anime. Ren and nana are one of my favorite couple, cant belive ren died was hoping him and nana would get married song fits perfect for them

@@gemmy_stone5820 no they didnt get married. Nana wanted ren to return to black stones after shin went to jail but ren wanted to be clean since he did lots of drugs. On nana birthday doing winter he went to pick up reira when he was on drugs and being chased by the press and thought he saw nana running to there old home but was black cat he crushed into buliding that killed him on impact. Only his hand wasnt destoryed like his whole face yastu had to see if when was dead and had to call nana that he died on birthday. After that nana left to deal with ren death on her own. Listen to shape of your love,stand and kuori its nana singing about her love for ren and how she misses him so much

@@gemmy_stone5820 no problem i felt the same when i found out ren died. And the manga hard to say since ai yazawa went to hospital for an illness back in 09 and dont know if she fit do nana. They made 2 live action of nana and ai yazawa made paradise kiss its a good manga

I thought I finally move on from them but when the music start okay self you need to start to move on again to ease the pain they gave because you never receive closure from that manga/ anime 💔👍🥺

I still remember the night I read the manga and saw he died. I bawled my eyes out till I feel asleep. It was so unfair and horrible and the fact that the manga will never be complete…it sucks. Nothing against Ai though. Her health matters more and if that means Nana is a part of her past not to be revisited then so be it
