Well, Sasuke went to Orochimaru (the bad snake guy) in search of power, Naruto didn't want him to go bad and went to retrieve him back to Konoha. Sasuke didn't want to come back because he wanted to get stronger so he can kill Itachi (his brother). Even tho he knew that once he was powerful enough and killed Itachi, Orochimaru would take his body and make it his own, he decided to gain power from Orochimaru. Sasuke ended up being so strong that he eventually killed Orochimaru (not really, but he thought he did) and gained his powers. Naruto found him in Orochimaru's secret lair and they fought (more like Sasuke just proved to Naruto how strong he is, not an actual fight). bla bla bla a lot of shit happens and Sasuke fights and kills his brother, Itachi, finds out that his brother, that killed the entire Uchiha clan was actually doing it for the sake of Konoha because the Uchiha were planing to rule Konoha themselves. The third Hokage gave Itachi that mission and he killed them all. Now Sasuke wants to destroy Konoha because he felt that the Third Hokage forced a lot of pain on Itachi and wants to avenge Itachi now. Sasuke went on and joined a powerful organization called Akatsuki, ended up with Orochimaru again, Orochimaru revived the past Hokages and Sasuke asked them a lot of questions and then went to save Konoha which was under attack (Obito, Madara, Ten tailed beast - can't explain this without explaining another stroyline), they defeat the bad guys, Sasuke wants to become the Hokage but also kill the current kages that are currently trapped in Madara's world of infinite dreams and get his "revolution" going. Naruto doesn't let him go to the darkness and fights him to prove his friendship to him, but Sasuke fights Naruto to kill him. It all ends well (kinda)
