Canonically, from what I've seen, only four witches were ever seen with goggles -- Shirley Yeager, Hanna-Justina Marseille, Katou Keiko, and Francesca Lucchini -- and only three of them use the goggles as intended. I've only seen Lucchini with goggles on her head in promotional artwork. And from what I've noticed, the witches seem to have a weak passive shield around them at all times that would protect them from basic elements, but this is somewhat inconsistent as there were several instances when wind, rain, and snow caused them problems. Although, these witches were younger and less experienced, so maybe that factor played in some way. I looked way too far into this...

By release date order: (1) Strike Witches, (2) Strike Witches 2, (3) Strike Witches: The Movie, (4) Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow, (5) Brave Witches, (6) Strike Witches: Road to Berlin, and (7) Luminous Witches. By the in-universe chronological order: (1) Strike Witches, (2) Brave Witches, (3) Strike Witches 2, (4) Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow, (5) Strike Witches: The Movie, and (6) Strike Witches: Road to Berlin. I'm not sure where Luminous Witches fits in as I have not yet watched it. Either order works for watching the series. There are also the non-canon comedy spinoffs: (1) 501st Take Off!, (2) 501st Take Off! (Movie), and (3) World Witches Take Off!

@@FX_MANOR I would add that Luminous Witches isn't a military anime like the other. It is a song anime. Basically, the Luminous Witches are an Air Force Musical Band whose mission is to raise the moral of the people by holding spectacle of music and aerial acrobatics. The series itself take place during the first season of Strike Witches (both series are taking place at the same period on the timeline of event) but has no connection with it. You should watch it, but only after watching the other anime because having the background of the universe and the general situation of the world make you appreciate the Luminous Witches more in my opinion.
