I feel like the last couple years you’ve honed your style in a way that is brilliantly good. You also perfectly describe how it feels to love an art form, no matter how niche it started. Your video stood out as my favorite from the contest, no surprise there though. The story telling speaks for itself. Jazzy, every now and then I come to your channel to rewatch old favorites and see what new masterpieces you've created. I cannot believe it's been 15 years! Your description really touched me and also made me very nostalgic about my own editing history. Just a couple of days ago, I recalled how much of an outlet and comfort editing used to be for me, especially during those turbulent years of early adulthood. Each video marking a state or stage in our lives, definitely rings true. Unfortunately I've not been driven and focused enough to complete anything during the past few years, even though I start a new project every now and then. It's amazing how you've continued that passion over time, and created pieces that are so unique and an example of how creative and unique amvs can truly be. I am happy to hear you're at a good place in life and will always be looking forward to your new creations. Much love

Your editing skills are insane in this one. Most people seem to move away from honing their raw editing skill and they try to do a million "obvious" comps, without even having a good feel for the base editing. You on the other hand keep honing your raw editing skills and on top of that, you put insane effort in the storytelling and you use so many comps that even seasoned editors would have a hard time figuring out if they were actually comps in the first place. Lately, I've been somehow losing the interest to watch amvs, because almost everything is just "obvious" comps but when i watch videos like this the inspiration and interest always come back. Great job on this one, i hope you keep at it for years to come. Can't wait for the next one!

Thank you! I'm so happy you liked it. Yes I agree with this sentiment a lot. I don't think the effects and visuals need to be so loud to be effective. But again, that's just my style and preference. I enjoy focusing on telling a story. Other editors maybe more enjoy the process of creating visuals. To each their own. There is no wrong or right way to make an AMV. Probably the best video ive seen in a while, the complexity of your editing, CC and matching different animes is on another level.
