I would be on a Talk Show with Katie Couric or anybody about caring for my aging families, my aging relatives. Whenever I'm feeling down, and feeling upset I'll be gladly have somebody to talk to about difficult times and rough times I've been going through in my life. Seeing my true love Amy Grant on a Talk Show talking about Caring for her aging parents with Dementia, it makes me want to cry!

I'm a longtime Any Grant Fan & Christian singer/songwriter in a huge crises. My 2 young daughters were taken from me by the DCFS 10 months ago due to postpartum depression & bipolar disorder... (I never abused them). They are with their schizophrenic father who continues to abuse them and neglect them. They need HELP!!! The DCFS REFUSES to remove them and bring them back home to me. Please *PRAY* for us, that God will grant us a *MIRACLE* & bring them home to me!

My gran had dementia in her later years in her 80s and into her 90s and when she was 100 she died at the age of 101 and had moments when she could remember what she had for breakfast and then what happened in a book she was reading and then she would forget altogether

My mother just got diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. I'd heard that story about the Dr. saying it wasn't hereditary before, but I'd never heard the part about what kind she had. So, watching this, I just had the same kind of moment that Amy had. I called my sister and let her know. We have been worried about that. Of course Mama's care is more important and that's what we've focused on, but we did want to know. I'm so glad I saw this.

I'm so glad Amy Grant talks about this subject. My sister and I have gone through this very thing, with our mother. My sister is geographically closer, so much of the responsibility has fallen on her shoulders, but we came together as siblings should, to get her to a safe place. We laugh a great deal, because mother is so funny.

the first time I ever paid any attention to Katie was on Late night w/ Craig Ferguson. I honestly was prepared to dislike her. Instead I was enchanted ! She was absolutely delightful! She was like someone I grew up w/, like the girl next door! Iexpected her to be so much more worldly and sohisticated. But she was warm and so not worldly! Craig actually made her blush! Really like her now!!

Its great she could help her parents and not have to really give up anything but emotions...she is super rich and could afford to get the best help and not worry about working....the majority of people who find themselves in this situation CANNOT. There are many folks caring for their parents or sick relatives who are living in poverty because they have to quit their jobs etc. THEY are they REAL heroes...

honey, Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Goods....remember ? she had a dream that she followed from a teenager, and God blessed her.....you jealous ?she's just as much a hero for taking care of her parents as anybody else is....she COULD have turned away, like SO MANY have....she did not.

Well there you have it CHRISTIANS. An Atheist has shown more love than you ever will. I have found this true of many atheists. Even though I have held onto my faith (although hard at times since the church turned it's back on me because I am gay) more athesits have showed me love and kindess than any Christian ever has. I am paraphrasing this but basically Jesus said, many will say I cast out demons in your name. And He (Jesus) will say I know you not.

But this is about Amy Grant and caring for a loved one who can't care for themself. I appreciate her transparency as a person! I have been caring for my daughter for 23 yrs, she's completely dependent and on a ventilator, but her mind is sound. I can identify w/ this! Not a dry eye...

Hypocrite? When you're fingerpointing, 3 fingers always showback. You might not know the background, why she decided to leave the father of her first 3 children. Amy Grant was dying spiritually when her (ex)husband tried to compete with her success. Even after Amy had cut back her career for over 3 years she was more popular than him. Instead of love and support in the relationship she had to endure it. 17 years of this unhealthy condition were enough time to grow up and be a real man.

Besides the Heart In Motion album, Amy Grant's music doesn't interest me much. I'm also an atheist. But I always kind of wondered: is she a genuine person, or just another homophobic, anti-gay, coo-coo Christian Conservative? Her music never gave me that idea, but her being a Christian Republican from Georgia I had some questions. This interview answered them, and it shows that she is, in fact, a genuine person.

i have seen some really sad things coming from Christians shame on us? if you want to be a true Christian get rid of all your pictures even the last supper and chop off all of you fingers lest some think you worshiping Satan and if you try to make an honest living as a performer lets judge them to death?? where is our Love did we forget who we are i see this and it makes me ashamed of you people?
