The reason I love Evanescence is because they don't just get someone to write the lyrics for them and they don't rush their albums. She goes away for a year or two to reflect on her life and make her awesome lyrics and music for the fans to enjoy and not just make some song about sex, drugs or money. She makes songs that have true meanings which people can relate to. Evanescence are such a great band! I will be a fan until the day I die

Can i just say that that's one of the best interviews I have ever seen.I liked the friendly tone of it 'cause sometimes when I see others do it I get the feeling that the interviewer is scared of the band!? I liked that he had done his research and we didn't get to hear the same questions that were already all over the internet but rather actually learn something new and interesting:)

no offence, but i wish the album was not self-titled. it makes the album more unique when there is a theme to it, a name. like fallen, meant that amy felt like she had fallen into a deep depression. like the open door, amy learnsthat there is always room for happiness, and it got cured more, with good enough, and she knew there was always a way to break throu(lithium).

You're right the music hasn't been the same...it's better. When Fallen came out...Amy's voice wasn't fully matured. I could never imagine a Fallen-era Amy belting out songs like Lost In Paradise, Never Go Back and The Change that she can now.
