In an interview on Sirius she said she can't even remember the rappers name. I understood then she never wanted us as fans. Unfortunately what's his face... made you famous. And I'm okay with that. You had that one good album and I'm sure fans of your genre love you. I'm just not into people who forget made them famous. I passed on seeing them but wish them good luck.

She did not forget “who made her famous” and saying that it's actually taking her credit, she wrote the song and the rapper was added bc the song was supposed to be in a movie and the production decided what they wanted. It's not that they didn't want the people who liked the song as fans, is that Bring me to life doesn't exactly represent the band, they had said it a couple of times.
