I'm Scottish and i don't think that germans are funny when they talk, because they're talking in german. Think of a country called Scotland and not england.

It's an accent not a dialect!

@@ms8165 No, the notion of accent applies to foreigners speaking english. The notion of dialect applies to regional differences in pronunciation within a country.

@@agawokwo I am actually a linguist. "An accent refers to how people pronounce words, whereas a dialect is all-encompassing. A dialect includes the pronunciations, grammar and vocabulary that people use within a group." In other words Amy Macdonald speaks English with a Scottish accent. To be more precise, a Glaswegian accent.

Its funny how she use her time on this video talking bout springsteen when she is as good of a artist in some ways, springteen is ok in my book, but they are plenty as good if not better, i guess she like pop commercial hit songs with a 4/4 steady beat....at 140bpm
