Apart from Rachel Tucker, Amy Ross is my favourite Elphaba! I saw her the first time I saw wicked in Bristol in February! Such an amazing musical! Such amazing actress and actors! Genuinely was blown away from her Defying Gravity.. one it all went black, me and my sister looked at each other and we both had tears in out eyes, both loving singing. I couldn’t stand properly, that’s how amazing I thought it was! I’m also really nervous because I’m singing this at my friends birthday party, and I s never sand in front of anyone before... arghhh! It’s so powerful for an amateur like me, but I’ll try!

Saw it last night and is it just me who thinks Amy Ross was better than India Menzel. Ross' riffs were phenomenal and her performance as Elphaba was incredibly nuanced and relatable which made the show so much better than the first time I saw it 4 years ago

Andy O'Connor I totally agree!! Idina is amazing but Amy has such power behind her voice. I cried my eyes out when I saw her perform this it was that emotional and just phenomenal

I love her she’s amazing my only complaint was the orchestra was extremely low I expected more sound as the vocals drowned them out and a lack luster overture, having said that it was a wonderful experience

Saw this in Dublin over a month ago now but I wish I could go again!! It was my first time seeing a musical and it's made me want to see loads more. Helen, Amy and Aaron are absolute perfect choices for the roles! I get chills every time I hear this along with No One Mourns The Wicked and As Long As You're Mine. That "look to the western sky" is unbelievable!!

I kind of like it. It’s different from other Defying Gravity’s. She sounds so young somehow still, which I guess is fitting for the character. But what’s with the horns in the beginning? 😂

Maywhite 15 I do love No One Mourns the Wicked as you can really observe Helen's facial expressions as she mourns the death of Elphaba but goes with the crowd who congratulates it. Defying Gravity is also fantastic
