My vocal health history has led me to where I am today. This is Part II of this crazy journey of mine! I feel it's important to share. I've often wondered about singers with powerful voices like Amy and thought, "What is their secret?" I'm not a singer, but I used to do some acting, storytelling and public speaking and sometimes, my voice would get tired. I believed (incorrectly, it seems) that some people were just blessed with extra strong vocal chords and I was not one of them. So, I empathize with you and hope you have a full recovery. In the meantime, don't blame yourself. No one can see what the future holds. It is difficult for all of us to know when to push and when to to take it a little easy. It takes time and attention. So, please don't be hard on yourself. You are a great talent and seem to be a really thoughtful person.

I'm really proud to hear how well you are doing now. Its amazing sometimes how just doing what doctors tell us can have such an amazing impact. Ive had those moments myself where I said "wow if I had listened to that doctor 10 years ago I wouldn't be having this particular issue". And I'm really happy to see you stop using prednisone. That's some really nasty stuff. Overall, thanks for sharing, and i hope I get to see you perform live some day
