I have a lot of respect for Amy Schumer, and it’s really sad to see so much unnecessary hate and immaturity thrown at her. When I first saw the shitstorm, I was confused and took some time to inform myself. She has clear opinions, but some of the trolls act like she’s a demon or the devil incarnate! Thanks for having her on as a guest! It’s disappointing how many people just mock or spread negativity for attention-this whole mass phenomenon of blatant hate is just exhausting. Comedy is subjective - what one person doesn’t find funny, someone else might love. Why do people have to whine about that? Sure, her political stance can be polarizing, but hating on her without offering any real constructive feedback is just pointless. A little more empathy and mature conversation would go a long way.

I met her this past weekend at my job, a very tiny local coffee shop! She came in with her family and is truly one of the most down-to-earth, kind women I’ve ever met ❤ She’s so sweet and while not everyone agrees with her, the negativity has blown up into something she absolutely has never deserved. Humans are humans and we should treat each other as such!
