Amy Wants To Know If Her Kids Can Watch The Cosby Show

Amy's kids were born in Haiti and are still adjusting to life in America almost 2 years later. Amy and her husband are always trying to find ways to make them feel more and more comfortable with their lives here. Just recently, Amy's daughter started watching Friends and she loves it. There's a show that Amy wants to allow her son and daughter to both watch because she thinks they can relate to it on many levels. That show is "The Cosby Show."

Let them watch. It was a good show with good values. The creator of One Tree Hill was accused of doing heinous things, yet I still enjoy the show itself.

If the listener was listening to the point she would have heard Amy wants a show where the characters look like her kids. Full House and Golden Girls are not people of color. Great shows but Amy is wanting diversity for her kids which is awesome. I say let them watch

absolutely let them watch it, the artist shouldn't be judged for thier past. if i had kids i'd let them watch it, i'd tell them honestly about what he did if they asked which you know eventually they will. Can't keep them in a bubble forever

I won't put The Cosby Show on in my house ever again. I don't buy that the show is about family values when the head of the family is a complete phony. Bill Cosby was Cliff Huxtable and I can't separate the two.

She will end up talking about what happened sooner than she thinks. If the kids talk about watching it with other kids Bill Cosby's current problems will come up.

Imagine the day kids find out about bill cosby though. I was a full adult when everything went down, and I got bummed because all the great memories of the show some how got tainted for me.

Amy I am probably twice your age. I watched the show myself when it was on. I find no nexus between his private activities which was very bad, if true, and that show. Due to the LONG duration between events and reporting I still question the validity of the charges!! You can always explain it later in life when they are much older. They need at the younger age good role modules of there ethnic origin. There are so few shows that show a positive atmosphere today for all ethnic. groups!!
