I think they were supposed to be angelic, but they messed the eyes up.

I think more than the eyes, it’s the lines for the cheek to mouth area…otherwise the eyes might be able to pass as closed and peaceful. Maybe.😮

I don't know that I'd call them creepy but whoever did probably didn't get better than a passing grade in art class.

If viewed as if their eyes are closed, then they look pretty peaceful.

Images on black stones are usually laser etched from a drawing or photo. Someone really, reallly got it wrong! Scary.

There are two people on the stone. Judging from their death dates, sometime between 1996 and 2008.
