Hi Amy! Thank you so much for taking the time to create this video. I loved the look you ended up creating, I’m sorry that you didn’t have the best experience with the duochromes. It is a new formula and they are very textured, and much better applied over top of some glitter glue / primer. I appreciate the feedback and I will take it on board to try and alter it slightly to make them smoother for both of the preorders going out in April and May. ❤️

Thank you for your honest first opinion Amy! I was on the fence with this one since although I love my Youbeauty palette, I’ve had some Glaminatrix shades that have fallen apart a bit.. (the yellow and lite blue were broken upon arrival.., she said she will send me replacements.. I told her to wait for me to place another order to save shipping) I have 2 palettes with her singles also.. they are stunning, but a little inconsistent. I feel she’s perfecting her formulas. She’s getting there tho, and I’m pretty sure she works alone..

I’m sure it’s not easy keeping up with all she does. Her shadows are simply stunning too! (It’s still a little pricey so I wanted to wait on some reviews this time)

Just fyi. My Sandra rose came over a year and a half ago with three pulverized shadows. I was away from home all that time. So when I got home I reached out to glaminatrix and they are sending replacements. I told her not to rush as I’m sure she’s busy with the new launch. So excellent customer service. all the singles I bought are gorgeous too.

I think it looks beautiful. MIlly did a video that I watched right before yours and she of course used a glitter primer and it helped a lot. She said the shadows have different textures and did 4 looks so please do more

Yes those deep mattes are the more buildable type, I did an indepth review vid on this new shimmer and matte formula since I played with it for a month. I like buildable mattes more than pure pigmented right away. I showed a wear-test for the shimmers and had a similar experience (mine creased when I never deal with creasing). What helped me is making sure I had the UD primer underneath and then a more sheer layer of the shadow overtop. I still overall like the formula now that I know how to use it because its soo sparkly but I wouldn't recommend heavy/thick swatches on the eyes!

I LOVE the color story and packaging both, and feel as if Shroud's It's Freakin' Bats & Kaleidos Flower Punk had a baby, this would be it. Thanks for an, as so often, stellar review. I'd LOVE to see more looks done w/ more of these shades, using various techniques, and ofc, final verdict.

I think only influencers have received the palette so far. She is saying this palette will be restocked for a 2nd release end of May. She's way behind but has employed some help for future releases.

I loved the texture of the shadows in both my You Beauty and Silent Night palettes. I have aging hooded eyes so this new formula scares me now that I've seen you struggle with it. I wanted this sooooo badly!! Some of my most used, all time fav shades are from glaminatrix but I noticed the shimmers in my most recent order weren’t quite as creamy. I wasn’t sure if they reformulated or if they just have diff formulas. Can’t wait for u to play with this more!!

I think I can kind of see what you meant about the multichrome texture, but I've got to say, the look really did come out super beautiful! The matte gradient in the crease was so so pretty (also OT, but I felt what you said about declutters in your content creator vid in my *soul*)

Sometimes a brush does lend to a smoother appearance. Maybe try a sprayed brush next time to see how it looks?

Shoooooot. The multichromes arent very flattering (I feel like your eyelids don’t normally look wrinkle-y like that). I know doing another full video isn’t practical, but would you consider maybe making a short with an update? I bought the palette at launch for the late May pre-order so i wont be getting it anytime soon. Im thinking ill try it with a brush and spraying it? (when i eventually get the palette of course). Awesome video, thank you for the review!

Ohh this palette has such a gorgeous color story really beautiful but I could tell when you put those chromes on your finger for the swatches the formula just looked quite dry and flakey which is a shame I hope when you do future looks they get better cuz it’s such a beautiful palette 🥺💗

I really extra appreciate your review on this palette! The color story looks incredible, but I’m a pretty disappointed in how some of the shadows performed. And I do already have the It’s Freaking Bats palette, which I love, so maybe I should just stick it that, especially since I really shouldn’t be spending a lot on makeup right now. It’s a gorgeous palette, if I had more money to spend, I might get it anyway, but if it gave you some issues, I might just save my money. Those multichromes or duochromes look thick on texture. I prefer the Youbeauty palette much better.

Oh no, I have indie single shimmers (multicromes) from Clionadh, Glamshop, Looxi and Terra Moons. This colourstory spoke to me, but those shimmers don't do it for me 😔

The look turned out really beautiful and I adore the colour story but, yikes, I see what you mean about texture. Thick shimmers are not my favourite and I honestly idk how these would adhere to my puffy Asian eyelids without feeling like trying to put peanut butter on a bouncy house. Heartbreaking because I want this palette so so badly.

Hi Amy. i love all of your reviews and grwm etc. I am so glad to hear how you like this palette, it is pretty but out of principle, I cancelled my preorder with her. It does not become avail here in Australia until the end of April and the end of May. After my experiences with GLAMINATRIX, I cancelled my preorder for the nocturnal palette and will no longer buy from her. I waited since October last year to get my preordered Mini Sandra Rose palette. I won't go into the details but I sent multiple emails to her to get it all sorted out and didn't hear from her until I got a tracking # and a bit of her being cranky with me When i cancelled the order I got a lukewarm apology and an SMS expressing her irritation over my multiple emails to her. Imagine that wanting only to get my palette I paid for 6 months ago and GLAMINATRIX was upset. Any way good products 10 out of 10 customer service and decent mailing times a big fat ZERO

I also ordered Sandra Rose mini in October for a Jan/Feb shipping date. Mine shipped on March 20, so 20 days late. Obviously I would've liked to get it on time, but she did communicate that it would be a few weeks late. I've had some problems with broken shadows in my palettes and I've always found her to be super helpful and responsive. So if your palette shipped before you cancelled your preorder, what are you going to do with the palette when it comes since it's on the way?

@@Superfreaky1RU I got the Sandra Rose ( we were told Jan - Feb delivery ) but didn't get it until almost the end of March finally. If it wasn't for my GF I wouldn't have known about the delayed shipment at all. I cancelled the Nocturnal as I would be lucky to see it by the end of May! I did that as I and some others didn't get any communication from her, to which she blamed her mail server. What bothered me as well is she came across as rude and wasn't willing to accept that she was at fault in any way. Now she is sending out this Nocturnal palette to the influencers and there are customers who have prepaid and still waiting

I have loved Glaminatrix formula but her pre order is so long and blames everyone and everything for the massive delays. She was so rude to my girlfriend which I find disheartening as I recommended her

I also love glaminatrix but totally agree on the preorder situation. I waited 5 months for the Sandra Rose mini palette to arrive. When a preorder has 500 units at $65 that's over $32000. Definitely needs to reinvest the money into speeding up the process or they're gonna flop. That's also why PR annoys me. So many people have recieved the palette for nothing while those of us that paid for it are waiting months.
