I also own the ND gold and Metropolis but I think this year green has been very popular to it was a smart move on ND’s part. Leaning in to the trend and giving the makeup lovers what they want 😅

TY for the in-depth comparisons! The more I see videos on the yucca palette, the more I'm thinking I need to pick it up 😅 My sensitive eyes do well with ND's formulas, and this looks like it'll be a great replacement (and honestly much better than) to my Melt 420 palette

I don't own it anymore but I feel like the ND Triochrome palette had some greens that might be close to the Yucca greens but I could be wrong and since I don't have it anymore to compare I'll never know lol....

Hi Amy, your eye look is perfection, I feel like this palette is made for you! The ND mini Gold palette is a good pairing with Yucca, but you're right the shade Plantasia is really a standout, I'm convinced there's pink micro shimmers mixed in with the bright yellow and chartreuse sparkles lol 😊

The one shade that keeps pulling me in is Camu Camu, but I’m thinking that Lethal Cosmetics relapse is pretty similar and I’d rather just have the single. I have similar shades to the new orange and chartreuse eyeliners from About Face too, so I’m glad I can appreciate how gorgeous this collection is without getting anything

for me it's my new Gold palette (owning it as well) and it would be perfect of it had lime chrome, I don't think YUCCA is close enough there. It's my absolute favourite ND shade and wish to own more of it (already half through the pan ;__; )

I saw someone comment a while back that they thought maybe nd is trying to give color stories in the midi's that were previously only available in the large palettes. That makes a lot of sense to me!

this is the very first nd palette where i love all but one shade. i had a chance to swatch it in store and will definately get it later. all my other nd palettes i took apart and made custom palettes with the shades i loved the most. this palette will be the first i will leave as is! thanks for the thorough video! i did hear tho that we might be getting a new gold palette by end of year... will see

Such a great video Amy! No one describes colours or does swatches quite like you!! I’m kinda nostalgic for the Gold & Metropolis palettes. I think the packaging was so much nicer & they just seem more special for that reason. I still don’t own a single ND palette though which is something to say for someone with nearly 400 palettes in their collection! 🙈🌟

Thanks for the swatches and descriptions, I'm horrible at both. I did a 6 look video live and absolutely adore this palette. I miss having Metropolis. I got rid of mine when some of the shadows started to turn. I've seen Gold on Mercari for around $200 new. There's used ones for less but how old are they 🤔

While you were swatching pans, I pulled out my Juvia's Place Nomad pallet and Nubian 2 palette. There are a lot of similarities. Then I pulled out my barely used Morphe and Jacqueline Hill Vault palettes, the one called Armed and Dangerous, That had some of the missing colors. I don't have that Natasha Denona palette so I might be off on the shades but I bet I could get a similar look. Plus I already had these.

This was the best comparison video I've seen. I would love to see a video with the Juicy Olive and the Gemini palette. I love these grungy green palettes. Edit:: Spoiler Alert: Juicy Olive has very little in common with Yucca. I just grabbed them both and to my eye...the grunge vibe is there, but they are not similar. The Gemini palette is definitely a good one. So how much Sydney Grace do you own ;)

Not really. Where the plant comes from they say YOUcka, its just according to US pronunciation youd read YUCKka. So technically YOUcka is correct but either way is fine and no mistake.

One pronunciation is a plant, the other is a root that used for consumption. I forget which pronunciation is which. Both are correct, depending on where you are and which it is, plant or root.
