I never understood why people talk crap about Viva La Juicy. It was my main perfume for years in my late teens and early 20s and I still like it at 31 and continue to use it every now and then. It’s also my husband’s all time favorite perfume on me. It just seems like it got so popular that people started hating on it, which seems to be happening with Cloud these days too.

Hi Amy! Yes, I ❤Dylan Turquoise! I just got back from my son's wedding in Cancun and this was the ONLY fragrance I wore. ( I brought 4 with me) I get the sharp citrus and the sweet guava! It is just perfect for me for Summer! I also love Guerlain Teazzura for a non sweet fragrance in the heat. And, Tiffany & Love is great too! 😊

yeah I tried and tried to like Mac Turquatic , ekkk it just smells so cheap and generic to my nose. It was a scrubber for me. I dont like the drydown. Its fresh at first then turns like a cheap cool water for women from the dollar store.

Omg!!!! Young lady, so I have bought Sugarful and viva La juicy because of your recommendation!! They are so nice!! I bought coconut Sun last summer and I’m obsessed!!!! My newest and favorite fragrance is Miami Nectar and TF Eau d Soleil Blanc it is refreshing with the hint of lime!! My for life summer fragrances are D&G Sun and Garden! I love them so much!!!!!! All these perfumes are definitely beginner friendly. Amy is a great channel to watch for beginners or people who have allergies because she likes very light aquatic scents. Even the vanilla type scents she likes are light too. Most of the ones she reccomended today perform like an edt even though they are edp. If you are unsure what the difference is, edt is lighter than edp. Some perfumes are marked edp which means they have more oil and last longer than an edt. Edt are great for sensitive people with allergies or headaches. Yes Amy reccomends edp perfumes but they perform a lot lighter like an edt. If you like heavier scents with a lot of sweetness these reccomendations are not it.

Really? I feel like I’ve seen it mentioned plenty of times in the fragrance community. Hmm……. Maybe not as much the last year or two I suppose. But it’s been really all the rave in the past. And I remember when it first came out. It was so unique and unexpected for MAC. It was part of their Turquatic makeup release, and so they named the perfume after that line. ☺️

Ocean di Gioia and aqua di gioia, D&G light blue intense are my go to in the Summer. VS bombshell escape perfume is definitely delicious too for Summer.These are fresh and delicious for hot weather.

Kayali Juicy Apple is really pretty. Well blended. I like sweet scents. I purchased St Bart’s mist. It’s nice. It’s winter so I know it’ll be great in warmer weather. I’m addicted to Rick sugar candy & hove a huge dent. It’s gorgeous. An affordable summer scent I like is ARF Fragrence S. “confident AF.” Apricot nectar, Lychee, coconut, cream vanilla, musks. Smells so good but it’s kind of under the radar. Not mentioned much.

I love the Original DI GIOA than the Ocean one. The Ocean one smells too musky on me and only lasted 30 mins on me. And Mac Turquatic I cannot stand , never got the hype, smells so cheap on me, but the A Di Gioa original with the brown sugar is very good.

Amy, ocean di gioia did not work for me. I’m thinking maybe it’s the pear note. I am noticing that if I don’t like a fragrance and I look at the notes and if pear is in it I don’t like it. I am still trying to get my nose on the Mac one.

I love Pear Inc. In hot weather, CKin2U in dry heat, Creed Virgin Island Water ( I heard Rebecca Collazo mention a Dua dupe I need to try)! I’m not a fan of aquatic scents however, they smell too masculine to me and on me. I think that’s what I’ve noticed with the three you mentioned that don’t work for me; Mac Turquotic, Dylan Turquoise & The Ocen di Gioa line.
