These always take me back to when I worked at a restaurant and we'd have parties after work. There was a waitress that loved to play with my long hair while I played video games and she talked with the other waitresses. I love that you did this video. I really love near the end that you mentioned all the media stuff how catching negativity and making negativity popular and it is like trudging through mud to get to anything positive and that it's just that time again. we just do what we can and we have to just wait. but also that there is so much more good in the world. The worst part about it is that it isn't a single culture they tried to portray, instead throwing in a bunch of middle Eastern cultures in at once as if they're all from one country, same with Natlan which can't be said about literally ANY other Genshin Nation from those two

Some GI fans argue that "there's white people in Latin America too!" to defend the lack of melanin in the characters in the Natlan region. Problem with that is that only 25% of the total population in Latin America is white. While the overwhelming majority are different shades of brown a.k.a. not white. Even dumber is the defense used by Hoyoverse. They said that "its a work of fiction!" & "the sun in that world doesn't turn people brown or black" as a way to explain why everyone is pale. Except that they did include people of color as NPCs. Which destroys their narrative completely. I had a similar problem with Animal Crossing New Leaf. Where the playable character could only be a very pale shade of white. But Nintendo got the memo and corrected that issue with their next game, New Horizons. Fortunately.
