They've been called our Eagles by a few music experts. They're usually not included in the genre "Australian Pub Rock", more "easy listening". Great band for a few beers in the afternoon though. If you want to rock, check out The Angels and Rose Tattoo, and throw in some Skyhooks for something a bit different.

@@petercooney2597 To me, Cold Chisel are a band to listen to on a lazy Sunday afternoon over a few beers. That's what I mean by easy listening, you'd do the same with The Eagles or Creedence, whereas Rose Tattoo play hard hitting, driving rock music for a crazy Saturday night, something to thrash out to. Chisel are definitely on the soft side of rock n roll.
