Oh my God, the Santa/Christmas intro is fabulous! Getting pretty fancy out at the Homestead. The tree looks great but what a schlep, did you go to five different Christmas tree outfits? I was waiting for you guys to road-trip up to Canada to get one but you finally found one in America. Yikes. Merry start of the Christmas season, it's going to be beautiful in your new house. That tree already looks like it was born to go there. I can't wait to see the decorations. I guess you're finally - really and truly - in your new house. Yay!

Thank you Linda. First Christmas was off to a rocky start going 0-3 until we hit that 4th lot. LOL. Now the easy part....finding the decorations.

I love the non-living trees, so many beautiful trees out there in the stores. I had one for my elderly mom that had branches which glowed slowly then would go to normal and then glow. It was glorious. She loved it and she was a WWII girl and loved real trees.

We had an aluminum tree in the 1970's. Glad it never caught on fire. I have since learned aluminum fires are quite dangerous. Today's fake trees are very realistic and convenient. I agree. Just love the "fun" of finding the right one. Thinking strongly of growing our own since we now have agricultural property (aka no HOA to dictate how many pine trees I can grow).
