Lasagna Noodles: The only no cook lasagna noodles I find good are the rectangular plain flat ones with no ruffles. They work really well.

Oven ready lasagna noodles are the best. I have used these for many many years. Once in a while I use homemade fresh lasagna pasta, but usually oven ready. My sauce is quite thick and I never had a problem with the noodles not cooking properly.

Disclosure: this is just my experience. Alot of families like them. I don't. I make a mean lasagne from acratch. Never use the oven ready noodles. I know, its more work with the boiling noodles. But its absolutely worth it. I tried it 1 time. Will not make that mistake again. It was awfull.

I love the oven ready noodles, have been using for years. I use cottage cheese instead of riccotta. I mix the cottage cheese with 2 eggs, and parmasian cheese to make more of a liquid. Then layer noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese mixture, mozzarella then repeat

I have never used anything but the oven ready sheets for lasagna, and I’ve never used the cheese layer either but make a white sauce. I’m going to make a chicken hot pot today after seeing your pot pie, I use sliced potatoes instead of pastry it’s delicious. X

I didn't expect you to use as much garlic as you did! Wowsa! plenty spicy, plus the Italian seasoning throughout the different parts, so impressed! I also love your idea of sauce and meat separate!! Wish I lived at your house, all these meal preps look awesome! Thanks so much for the video!

Good Morning Amy!! When I make lasagna I go ahead and use the regular noodles and layer them in without cooking first they work fine. If I could I would like to make a suggestion, when using the dried herbs like Italian seasoning if you would give them a little crush between your fingers as you are adding them it "wakes" them up and makes them more flavorful for your dish. Just something my Grandma taught me. Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend!

Hi Amy! A little trick: line the lasagne pans etc w foil before you build the lasagne. Have two tabs at either end. Freeze. Lift out of pan and wrap again and freeze till you want to eat it. Meanwhile, use pan for other things. Thaw it for a bit and take the bottom layer off, pop it in the original pan. Bake! I never had enough pans to let them be in the freezer. It all looks great, making me hungry!!

I don’t like the no bake noodles. I also use Ragu instead of all the tomato paste. We use cottage cheese, mushrooms, mozzarella and parmigiana cheese. It’s delicious. I cook my meat, sauce, cottage cheese and mushrooms together then I layer sauce, noodles and the cheeses. It’s my family and friends favorite. I think your going to have to start making smaller meals with all the kids working and busy. Lol
