Amy I do like your videos but the cooking ones I absolutely love. I live on my own now as my family have all grown up and moved out and I find it hard to cook for myself sometimes. However Your videos motivate me to not only cook but to cook extra and freeze it for the days when I don't feel like making things from scratch. So thankyou so much for your inspiration. Good morning a day after. I do love those salad bags also. I was going to buy just kale but it either looked floppy old or stinky in bag yellowing old. We grew it in garden in summer but the bugs loved it. It's hard with a large garden as so many things get neglected. Cold weather moved in Illinois, ugh, can't stay warm in old age. I used to fuss about peeling whole boiled eggs. Until I finally realized...if I was going to be chopping them for egg salad, I could just crack them in half and scoop them out into the bowl. No need to worry about peeling them carefully. That step is only necessary if you're making devilled eggs.

As my children got older their tastebuds changed and they started eating a lot of different foods. Do your kids get burned out of stuff after awhile? Like the chicken and broccoli pasta, little pancakes? I always tried to mix stuff up like for breakfast like eggs/bacon one day then maybe waffles the next etc. etc.. I was just wondering. Has your family tried roast, pork chops or anything like that. I see Greg does with his ribs. Lol. We get the great value sauerkraut in the can and it’s good. We don’t like it sweet. Roll the cooked eggs around in your metal bowl of ice water to crack which Loosings the shell.water goes under shell peels easier.

Good morning. I would be done way before you were in the kitchen. My daughter comes home Thanksgiving for the day. I told her I would make your molasses cookies, they were a hit with her college friends this summer. I was also hoping to get something else done by Wednesday night. I have to unpack the ingredients first. It accomplishes 2 things, Samantha gets her goodies and I get more unpacked. You have a fantastic friday and I will see ya tomorrow

Hey Amy!! I hope your hubby appreciates those ribs….your expression while you were having to touch them was hilarious!! 😂 That recipe must be a northern thing….my brother in law is from Pennsylvania he introduced that to our family. I’m not a fan but my hubs loves it. I make ribs using a spice rub and then letting them marinate in the fridge overnight and then wrap them in foil and cook them slow in the oven and then take them off the last 10 minutes or so to brown. Tender and delicious!!

Put a wet paper towel or dish towel under your cutting mats when cutting, all that sliding around is dangerous. If that knife slips on you which it will it will cut you bad.
