A very simple meal that we make along with pigs in a blanket is pre-cooked/frozen meatballs, a jar of bbq sauce and a can of crushed pineapple. Mix together and out in your crockpot or instant pot.

I'm a 27 year old mom of 1, I work a full time job, trying to start my own business, and do housekeeping for extra cash. You have been such an inspiration. I always feel guilty about not being able to spend time with my son or not having the energy to cook like I use to. I used to get up every morning and make his breakfast and pack his lunch. Before I started working so much I would be off at 4 and we would eat dinner no later than 6pm. Now that I have a different job and we live a bit further away from work we don't get home until 6pm sometimes 6:30pm. These ideas would be perfect in my home. I just started washing and seasoning my meat before freezing it. I can see myself really incorporating these ideas into our lifestyle. Thank you for being you!!

I had been missing your videos Ms. Amy. My whole house hold caught Covid and one by one we ended up in the hospital. The care and love that poured from our family and friends and from every person inside that hospital was amazing. God's love shone from every where and even though it's been the hardest thing we've faced as a family, God made sure I knew just how blessed we are. I truly know what is the most important thing....God's love. My older sister is still in the hospital. Sedated and on a ventilator, but I know God will bring her home. I feel it in my soul and so I'm not afraid. I ask for your prayers and thank you for always reminding me of just how much God loves us.

I really like the idea of the little tortilla cups for breakfast. I have not seen the many ones around here but believe me I will be on the lookout I think they would go well. I love your gather your fragments day I keep a pretty full basic pantry with fruits vegetables have meat in the freezer so I do gather your fragments most weeks as my menu planning. Love to see something a little different some things from your house won't float at mine as some things that mine wouldn't float in yours but it gives me ideas to work with other than what I have in sometimes my wooden head. Other ideas are just great

We have a pellet ice machine at work. We sprinkler flavored syrups or powders over it, then eat it with a spoon as it dissolves. It is like eating snow cones at work. I feel like I'm at the circus having a yummy treat lol

I had bears at one of the houses I lived in and I started rinsing the wrappers and cans before putting them in the trash then putting the cans in the garage. Seems inconvenient but it takes less time than cleaning up the leftovers from the bears. If I had a sealable container like a jar of zip-loc bag, I'd put stuff in there to prolong the smell from coming out. Sat cans out only an hr before pick=up also.

I made the Bean Donuts, but don’t have a Donut pan. So I used a cake pan, was like a really moist Brownie. I also dropped spoonfuls of Peanut Butter and they was amazing,🤤😋

Good morning! I guess this bear isn’t like Yogi and Boo Boo bear! Lol! He knows you make delicious food so he wants part of it too. Love what you gather and put together for the weekend. The idea of using the tortilla boats for a breakfast is a great one. I have some boats left and I’m going to use that recipe. I cannot eat the bacon bits without putting them in the microwave for a minute or so. Now I hope your weekend was sunny and bright ….pool time and yummy foods and snacks. Hi Amy! I make up a sauce to put those lil smokies in: about 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp prepared mustard, a good squirt of maple syrup and 3 tbsp worchestershire and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and simmer your hot dogs in them. This also makes for a nice dipping sauce for the crescent smokies.

A tip... a short order cook once told me that if you use water for your scrambled eggs instead of milk, your eggs are fluffier. Great when you’re low or out of milk.

I love pigs in a blanket with spicy mustard! So we a "chili corndog muffin" with the cocktail weenies, spoon some prepared corn break mix in bottom of muffin pan, at 1 spoonful chili (we just use canned,) cut weenie in half and shove into muffin and cover with more cornbread mix, can always mix a touch of shredded cheese in the bread mix

Yeeess! The pellet ice! I have only been able to get it at the hospital also! It is the best! It’s little & crunches easily. It is airy also! I have looked for it also & cannot find it! I’m gonna get me one of those machines! Great video also!😉

I have so much zucchini in my garden, it’s out of control. I’ve taken to shredding it and freezing it in the amount needed for zucchini bread/muffins. Next summer, Amy, you will have to grow some! Btw your flowers look great!!

to keep animals away from your trash try ammonia, soak a couple of paper towels with it and put it on top of trash shut lid, when the animal gets the barrel open they get the strong odor of it and run.

Fresh pineapple has natural tenderizer enzymes in it... if you eat fresh pineapple toy should rinse your mouth afterward to get rid of the enzymes so it doesn't affect your mouth...

The beans in your donuts (I use it for cake or cupcakes sometimes) - it takes the place of the flour.

You can do the same thing with the angel food cake mix and a can of peaches, you just have to chop up the peaches first (I use a food processor). It is amazing served with cool whip. I bet Greg would love it.

We had same problem with bears at our house. It looked like a bomb went off in our garbage can. Put ammonia in the bottom of your garbage can and spray outside of can. The bear won't touch it. We have been doing it for years and haven't had a problem since doing this.

I didn't have any tomatoes or diced tomatoes when I was making zucchini soup yesterday. You know what I used? You might laugh, but I had half a jar of spaghetti sauce in my fridge, so I just mixed it with my broth and it worked. I put zucchini, onion, baby spinach, celery, orange sweet peppers, half ground beef/half ground Italian mild sausage, beef broth, and the half a jar of spaghetti sauce. It worked. It was gather your fragments here yesterday... lol.

@amymaryon I’ve never made my Mac n cheese like that I’ve always made my cheese sauce from scratch boiled my noodles topped it with cheese baked it the oven but I was watching you make it and I’m sold Lol I making a pan Sunday for dinner and I’m going to try yours the only thing is I’ll have to find a smaller can of cheese sauce bc that big can would be wasted but you said I can freeze it I might just do that I love going to sams club so that will give me a reason lol I think that’s what I’m going to do thanks for sharing

You can buy cans or jars of the cheese at regular grocery store, my grandmas cheesy potatoes recipe uses jar cheez wiz...and if you don't have a Sam's membership and want a large can we have gotten it at Gordon's food service to use for an event

Funny, pigs in a blanket are not my favorite thing to do either..so much time just standing and wrapping all the while I’m thinking about something else I could be doing. Anywho..before watching you here on your channel I would never do gather your fragments. Amy, I can’t imagine the money I’ve saved over time now. Before I would go to the store, stock my fridge while stuff I had previously in the fridge would still just sit there yet again. Such a waste! So yep, I’ve learned as I’m sure many of us here have. Thank you for so many lightbulb moments 🙃🤩 As for the bear..mom said her neighbor put up a scarecrow to the side of the house where their boat is parked. Even in their retirement community, a gated community they have bears. They’ve had a lot of bear issues especially on trash night…so far it’s worked for her she was told. How do you keep your stove clean? I have one just like yours but is all gas. I had some oil splatter on my stove burner knobs and it left a mark. I deep clean on the weakens and I don’t know how to remove the stains😔thank you I really like your recommendations I just found your channel today😂🙏🏼

Thanks for another great gather your fragments video Amy! Might I suggest that you get a trail cam and have Greg set it up so it faces your trash can. You can buy one for less than $50 and they are easy to set up, battery operated. There's always surveillance equipment, but that's much more expensive. You have to purchase your SD card separately with some trail cameras, so be sure to check if one comes with it. It will capture day or night photo/video, that way you will know exactly what is getting into your garbage and whether or not it's the same one or a different one, or perhaps it might be a bobcat or raccoon. I watch another KZbinr who puts a bowling ball and other heavy things on top of her big green roller trash bin and a little raccoon pushes all that heavy stuff off, knocks the big trash bin over and goes through her garbage and it looks like a tornado hit it.
