If you put a few grains of rice in your salt shaker, they will soak up the moisture & keep your salt from clumping. When you need to remove the rice, run the salt through a tea strainer. People in Florida do this a lot. We know moisture.

I constantly gather my fragments! I did this morning before I had to be at work and used a ton of stuff out of my kitchen freezer. Things I even forgot! Mom of 5 now working full time and I always think of you while gathering fragments and "using what we have". You are a constant blessing to moms and wives new and old every where. Your frugality and real life usage of all things keeps me going. I can not say enough how much I appreciate you!

Omg!! I totally got to tell you this story...my sister and I had a sister day yesterday and I suggested we go thrift store shopping to find treasures (things we can’t live without) and low and behold I found a gem of a treasure...a DONUT PAN!!! I was so excited and told my sister about your donuts and now she can’t wait for me to make them!! So thrift store shopping (treasure hunting) was a success!!!

Damp salt or pepper in the shakers? Put a few grains of rice in them - about a half teaspoonful. The rice absorbs the moisture and keeps the seasoning flowing. Just change it each time you refill the containers. Rice is large enough not to clog the holes or come out into food. Panko is Japanese breadcrumbs. They keep their crunch!
